We are delighted to welcome three MSc students to the B Cell Immunity Lab for their research projects this summer.

Matty (MSc Biomedical Sciences) is working with Dr Sonay Beyatli to investigate antibody responses and neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in sputum samples using confocal microscopy.

Aiman (MSc Neuroscience) and Assem (MSc Biomedical Sciences) have joined Olivia Payne’s project investigating Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) gene expression in B cells isolated from the blood of patients with multiple sclerosis and healthy controls.

The students will be based in the lab until July, and we are excited to support them as they develop new experimental and analytical skills in human immunology research!
